New licence and permit variation forms for the Medicinal Cannabis Scheme coming soon

From 1 August 2023, revised fees and charges for the Medicinal Cannabis Scheme will apply to all medicinal cannabis licence and permit holders and new applicants. This follows the review of the cost recovery arrangements for the regulation of the Scheme. Further information on the revised fees and charges is available at our Guidance: Fees and charges page.

The changes to the fees structure will be reflected in updated licence and permit variation application forms. These updated forms will be available on our website soon.

Until then, you can request a licence or permit variation application form by emailing MCS.Application@health.gov.au.

We will also accept variation applications made on the existing forms, until the new ones are published.

Please note, the revised fee structure will apply to any licence or permit variations requested from 1 August 2023, regardless of the application form used.
