Anabolic, androgenic, hormones and other controlled substances

Import into Australia is prohibited unless the importer holds a permit issued by the Office of Drug Control (ODC).

Anabolic/androgenic substances such as testosterone and DHEA are border controlled substances that required an import permit for each shipment entering Australia.

Many hormones also require an import from the Office of Drug Control. Common examples include, Human Growth Hormone (HGH), Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH), Insulin-like Growth Factors (IGF), gonadotropin and somatropin.

If you plan to enter Australia with these substances, follow the advice for travellers.
