Introduction

The Customs (Prohibited Imports) Regulations 1956 allow for the import of otherwise prohibited substances with the permission of the administering agencies.

The ODC administers the following regulations:

•    Regulation 5: Narcotic, psychotropic drugs and precursor chemicals
•    Regulation 5A: Vaping goods
•    Regulation 5F: Kava as a food product
•    Regulation 5G & 5H: Various substances which include anabolic and androgenic substances, among others.
