New fees and charges for the Medicinal Cannabis Scheme

From 1 August 2023, the revised fees and charges for the Medicinal Cannabis Scheme will apply to all medicinal cannabis licence and permit holders and new applicants. This follows the review of the cost recovery arrangements for the regulation of the Scheme.

The changes to the fees and charges are described in the Cost Recovery Implementation Statement (CRIS) 2023-24. 

You can see the revised fees and charges in the CRIS and on our Guidance: fees and charges page. These revised fees and charges will commence on 1 August 2023. The existing fees and charges which continue to apply until 31 July 2023 are also available on our Guidance: fees and charges page.
