We have transitioned to an online system for submitting new licence applications from 23 July 2024. The changes will affect how you can submit a new licence application.
From 23 July 2024, new licence applications sit within the secure Health Business Services client portal, (the ‘portal’). These forms are web-based. They allow you to input information and data and submit it online.
The new forms within the portal give you the ability to:
auto-populate information
save progress
track the status of your application.
The first forms we have moved to the portal are the new medicinal cannabis licence and new narcotic drug manufacture licence applications. We will progressively move all other licence, permit and notification forms onto the portal.
Getting started
To access the portal, you need to set up myID, which is an easy and secure way to prove who you are online.
Once you have set up a your myID, you need to register a Client Account to begin using the portal.
Visit the Health Business Services Portal announcement for more information on how to complete these steps and access the portal.
How we will keep you informed
We will share support articles, how-to guides, and other resources to help you during this transition via the ODC Website.
You can find support for using the portal on our Portal help page.
Our team is here to help.
If you are experiencing technical or accessibility issues using the portal, you can contact our HBS support team at HBS.Support@health.gov.au or by phone on +61 (02) 6289 4618 and selecting option 6.
